Story
The RSPCA Hull and East Riding Branch (Charity number 23225) are looking to raise £1million to rebuild our animal rescue centre on Clough road, Hull. Although state of the art when it was first built, many of the facilities are no longer up to current RSPCA welfare standards and if they are not rebuilt soon we will face closure.
The branch is using this as an opportunity to make-over the Centre, with an upgraded cattery and specialist ferret unit, alongside the new dog kennel block! The centre helps to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome 100s of the most vulnerable local dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets each year. The staff are dedicated to helping neglected, abused and abandoned animals and the new centre will be the perfect place from where they can expand upon this work.
This is an exciting time for the Centre and the animals who live there. There are many ways in which you or your business can help- from naming a kennel after a loved one or beloved pet, to doing a sponsored event, or volunteering at the branch. The RSPCA Hull and East Riding Branch is an independently registered charity that supports the work of the RSPCA National Society and its inspectors.
Please help us with phase 1 of our fundraising and help us to raise £100,000 to add to the £250,000 we have already achieved.
Every penny helps us towards our goal of £1milion to create an animal centre worthy of the 21st century.
