We are encouraging local businesses to take part in the ultimate day of team challenges.

All teams that take part are being asked to raise a minimum of £1,000 to help continue the vital work of Rockinghorse Children's Charity.

One parent who has been supported by our work tells her story. "When our son was born 14 weeks early we were in a state of shock. Weighing just 1lb7oz, Wilf was not breathing, so he was resuscitated and rushed to the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU).

In the coming days, weeks and months, my husband and I sat at Wilf’s bedside just hoping and praying that he would make it through. It was touch and go for a while, but every day, Wilf made progress and after 117 days he was ready to come home.

We know that Wilf simply wouldn't be here without the amazing care and treatment that he received on the TMBU.

However it cannot be underestimated how vital it is that the staff have access to the very best equipment available, which is often provided by Rockinghorse."
