Story
Sometimes the hardest part of a difficult experience is the point when life has to begin again. It could be surviving addiction, unemployment or family breakdown. It’s even harder to find the inner strength when you’re living on a low income.
You can help us give people in east London on low incomes the space and the support to work toward their goals – big and small.
This Way Up offers east Londoners on a low income a free six-week course that involves one-to-one life-coaching and group mindfulness training.
Your donations will help us to run two more courses this year with. It means that our qualified practitioners can help 38 people to:
- Better understand their mind and emotions
- Develop more emotional resilience
- Set and work toward positive goals
Having free access to this kind of support will make a huge difference to people like Fatima. “Without TWU I think I would be completely stuck” says Fatima. “I couldn’t really see the way forward. This Way Up leaves you feeling like there are no barriers."
- 100% of our attendees agree that both the life coaching and mindfulness sessions were helpful to them.
- 98% of our attendees felt that they had made real progress with their mental health and confidence.
This Way Up has been a runaway success, but we can’t do it again without your help. Each course costs £12,000 to run and we can't deliver it to its fullest without all the support we can get.
If you donate today, we cannot thank you enough for your support.
