Can you help to make two peaceworkers into three?  

Each September we boost the capacity of two UK peace organisations by providing them with an extra pair of hands for a year, funded and recruited by us. In this way we aim to energise and strengthen the peace movement and give committed individuals the opportunity  to develop their skills and experience, setting them up for a lifetime's involvement with peace work.

This year the quality of applications for the Peaceworker scheme has been exceptionally high. Thanks to a number of generous grants we almost have enough money to employ a third peaceworker – but we are £6,000 short! Can you help us bridge the gap? 

The Peaceworker scheme does more than just give people who are passionate about working for peace an entry point: it matches them with organisations that can use their talents to take forward new, developmental and innovative areas of work that would not otherwise be possible. In this way we are invigorating the peace movement and investing in the future. 

If we exceed our target the additional money will go towards employing an extra peaceworker again another year.
