We are setting up a special Kindness Projects Fund to support ordinary people who want to do extraordinary things in their community through an arts or creative project.

The fund will enable us to mentor and provide support for these local volunteer champions. Our aim with the donations from our Kindness Calendar friends is that we can help establish 5 new kindness projects in 2016.

The first project the funds will support is the development of a new creative social action group led by local residents (aged between 5 and 65) in Newington, Kent. They plan to develop new creative projects (from transforming local wasteland to activities that bring older and younger residents together) and to organize a residents-led festival celebrating kindness in July.
