Visit the charity's profileFinished!!! 11.5 days; 954 miles cross country; 67.5 hours in the saddle, working out at 14.7 miles/hour, which the support team said was very good. Day 11, the last full day was 105 miles in driving rain and headwinds over the Sutherland Moors, which was the most godforesaken, drear landscape. Final day the same. Detoured to the most Northerly point in the UK, Dunnet Head, en route along the final stretch of N Coast raod - Thurso to JOG. Overall I think that the Devon and Cornwall 2 days to Collumpton were the toughest maybe on account of not being as fit as by the time we had done a week of back-to-back cycling. The Northern days were mostly wet. Great fun and glad I did it. Thanks very much for all the support - much appreciated. Looking forward to a curry!
