The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOn 6 May 2017, students and staff from Pembroke College, Cambridge will be embarking on a charity cycle ride, pedalling the 85 miles from Oxford to Cambridge. The event has become an annual tradition in recent years, with over 30 participants expected to tackle the cross-country route. The cyclists will be fundraising for the College’s Jo Cox Memorial Studentship, which seeks to raise at least £120,000 to fund graduate students from across the world to research issues of refugees and global migration at Pembroke, as part of the Cambridge Migration Research Network. Jo was a much loved and respected Member of Parliament, and a Pembroke alumna, who was tragically murdered in May 2016. This year’s cycle will coincide with the anniversary of Jo’s death. Participants will endeavour to bring to their cycling the enthusiasm and vigour to which Jo brought everything she did.
