Visit the charity's profilePAPYRUS annual national HOPEWalk is back again in October 2016 for the fifth year running! Last year HOPEWalk raised a fantastic £11,000 and our army of HOPEWalkers taking a total of half a million strides to shatter the stigma surrounding young suicide. This helped extend the hours of our national helpline, HOPELineUK, as well as train more people across the country as suicide first-aiders.
This year PAPYRUS need both Hosts and walkers to get involved to cover as much of the United Kingdom as possible and spread our message far and wide. Tell all your family and friends about HOPEWalk and let’s get everyone involved!
The cost of Host entry this year is £7.50, which includes entry for your group and a HOPEWalk Host pack.
Whether you choose a walk around your park, or you want to climb a mountain, by taking part in our national HOPEWalk you will be sending a powerful message to young people struggling in your community to raise awareness that there is hope and help available.
