On Monday 3rd July a fire was started in a skip outside our Hebden Bridge Furniture Shop. As a result our hospice van, affectionately known to the team as Vernon, was destroyed leaving us unable to make furniture collections and deliveries. Whilst the van was insured we do not think that the insurance will cover the cost of replacing the van due to the age of Vernon so we are asking for help to top this up! 

At Overgate we provide the highest standard of compassionate and specialist palliative and end of life care for adults in Calderdale who have active, progressive and life-limiting conditions. As a charity we look to our local community for help in raising the £6,800 needed everyday to remain open.
