In Aid of Providing Educational Materials to the Underprivileged Children

Following the successful running of the ‘Walk for the Blind 2015 & 2016’ the Om Saravanabhava Seva Trust UK raised over £30 000 to aid blind & young victims of the civil war, in Sri Lanka.

Story

The funds supported partially sighted destitute in giving equal opportunities in  every  aspect  of  their  lives  and  education. In addition, 10 livelihood projects were facilitated for these war affected victims, 350 bicycles were given to children who walked over 5km for their education and food provisions/clothing were provided to 2110 underprivileged families.

This year,  the Om Saravanabhava Seva Trust UK is confident that with your support, we can reach more blind / partially sighted and under privileged children to provide educational materials to educate them to face their  future with confidence.This is only possible with your  dedicated  participation and support by fundraising .
