Story

Our YMCA works with 2,000 young people each year in schools and youthclubs, around three-quarters of which are male. 80% of local young people we surveyed told us they would attend a YMCA session.

We aim to:

* reduce the number of young people who worry regularly

* increase the self-esteem and confidence of young people

* counteract the stigma boys face talking about Mental Health

* train young people to act as Peer Supporters, to spot warning signs and know who to signpost to
