Every three years, NYCoS is given the opportunity to perform internationally; an invaluable experience for a young person as they undergo the intensity of touring and a relentless schedule of rehearsals, performances and travel.

This time, the choir has been invited to perform at an Independence Day concert in Chicago on 4 July 2016, followed by performances at the Grant Teton Festival, Wyoming from 7-9 July. Whilst equipped with motivation, determination and an abundance of talent, an international endeavour such as this can be a costly one.

We hope to raise £25,000* for this tour, which will provide much-needed assistance as we send 110 choir members and staff to the USA. We want each choir member to incur the absolute minimum fee as well as provide additional financial support to those most in need of it.

*To date, we have received a total of £14,600 in offline donations and have updated our target to reflect this.
