Story

1 in 4 of us will suffer from mental ill-health during our lives and 1 in 100 of us will suffer from a serious mental illness. Support in Mind Scotland's 1 in 100 campaign aims to raise funds and awareness to deliver crucial mental health services across the country, and to tackle mental health stigma.

This year's 100-day campaign has now been launched and will run until World Mental Health Day on 10 October. Scotland rugby legend Scott Hastings and his wife Jenny, who has suffered from episodes of mental ill health, kindly launched one of the main initiatives of this year's campaign - the 1 in 100 Running and Walking Challenge.

Scott and Jenny have signed up to run 100 streets in 1 day, but you can choose whatever challenge suits YOU. You can run or walk 100 streets or 100 miles as an individual or as a group. Please contact the team at Support in Mind Scotland for a fundraising pack and further information. 0131 662 4359 or email: 1in100@supportinmindscotland.org.uk
