Story
At YMCA North London we work with vulnerable young people who are experiencing homelessness. Our aim whilst they are with us is to help them to develop their life skills and move on to live independently.
The young people that come to us are at the most challenging points in their lives, we aim to build on their strengths and aspirations and help them to grow in self- esteem and achieve their potential.
We need to raise funds to support the work we do and are organising a Sleep Easy overnight event.
It entails sleeping out for the night to raise funds and raise awareness of the hardship young, homeless people endure on a night rough sleeping.
The funds raised will introduce new projects and activities for our residents to prepare them for move-on.
