We know that nothing will ever take away the pain of giving birth to a still born baby, or giving birth to a baby who only has a few hours to live, but imagine the utter distress a family in this situation will feel if they are returned to a ward where new mothers and fathers are celebrating the birth of their healthy babies.This is currently what happens at Scunthorpe General Hospital.Please help us to provide a Bereavement Suite within the Central Delivery Suite at the Hospital.  This Suite will provide a safe haven for mothers who have just given birth to a still born baby or their baby only a few hours to live before they pass away. It will be a place where the family can spend time together too.
