Story

Kilimanjaro is the stuff of legend.  First climbed by Europeans in the late 19 century its snow-capped peak towering above the savannah has drawn intrepid travellers ever since.

Our mission is to summit the mountain, trekking through fertile farmland at the mountains base, through five distinctive climatic zones before topping out at 5895 metres above sea level.

We are looking for each supporter to raise £3995 in sponsorship which fund an inpatient bed for over a whole week per supporter!

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life and that treatingpatients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets. We passionately believe that the final part of someone’s life is as important as the beginning. We also know that making someone feel better is not just about medicine – sometimes holding someone’s hand or taking the time to listen to their fears makes the greatest difference...
