Story
The Esland Big Cycle in aid of MySmallHelp Nepal will start on the 22nd September 2017 and run over 10 days, cycling 585 miles starting from Esland's most northern children's home in Doncaster and ending at their most southern home in Kent.
Esland is raising money for MySmallHelp Nepal to help feed, cloth and educate orphans. We are aiming to raise enough money to finish building a school in the mountains outside of Kathmandu; thereby providing access to education for many more disadvantaged children.
We believe that the best way to alleviate poverty amongst children is through the provision of sustainable education and training. Many children who currently live in poverty are unable to go to school at all; this may be because parents can’t afford to send them, or because the parents need to send them to work to supplement the basic household income.
