For over 50 years the Palestinian territories has seen a devastating toll on its inhabitants. Over 2 Million people in Gaza are living under a humanitarian crisis which can unfold at any given time. With the recent violence hospitals are at breaking point with calls for medical equipment and supplies. Over 50 have been killed and 2,000 injured amongst them our children. Help us support hospitals in Gaza with medical aid to tend to the wounded, with medical equipment to enable lifesaving surgery and with hope and love so they may stand tall when they face injustice. Update Protests along Israel’s perimeter fence with Gaza have resulted in the highest number of both fatalities and injuries since the ‘Great March of Return’ began on 30 March. On 14th of May 18, 55 Palestinians were killed, including six children (one female), according to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza. Some 2,771 people were reported injured, including 1,359 by live ammunition, with 130 people in a critical condition, according to the MoH. Gaza’s Ministry of Health has announced a state of emergency, with the danger of acute shortages of basic medication. Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qedra said the needs would soon become critical. “We are already facing a severe shortage — 35 to 40 percent — of needed medicines and disposables, which impacts the treatment of the growing number of injuries because of the current escalation, Israel’s 10-year blockade of Gaza has caused infrastructure and services to collapse, provoking a humanitarian crisis for nearly two million people, mostly refugees, who have been effectively trapped inside.
