Story
From the streets to the mountain top
In June, we took on the biggest challenge of our lives to celebrate conquering homelessness. The challenge was also our opportunity to give something back. We wanted to give others the chance to conquer homelessness by raising funds and awareness for St Mungo’s.
Your support helped us to the summit, thank you
In the early morning the team set out in great spirits. We could all feel just how much the challenge meant to each other and how determined we all were to conquer Snowdon.
In the lead up to our challenge we were overwhelmed by the number of people who supported us with generous donations and lovely good luck messages. This kept us going all the way to the top. We wanted to do everyone proud.
We came. We saw. We conquered!
Touching the summit of Snowdon was a dream come true. It was a special, proud and emotional moment for us. We had never imagined we could do something like this.
In memory of those who have died while sleeping rough
At the top of Snowdon we dedicated our challenge to those who have died while sleeping rough. We know that could easily have been us.
Let’s help everyone conquer homelessness
At the heart of our challenge was our determination to help others who are homeless. We believe that no one should be without a home. We’ve experienced how dangerous rough sleeping is and how it affects mental health.
At St Mungo’s having a place to stay, therapy and learning new skills all helped us along our journeys to recovery.
We desperately want to give other people the same chance. It would mean the world if you could give a gift to help us achieve our ambition to save and change the lives of others.
We cannot thank you enough for supporting us
Without your support this walk would have been just that; a walk. Your support has made it a life changing experience. Thank you so much.
