Story
The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by MSA; a life-limiting neurodegenerative brain disease. We provide MSA nurses, a telephone helpline and regional support groups. We also fund research into both a cause and cure. We do not get any government funding. So we completely rely on generous supporters like you - we cannot do any of this without your support.
What do I have to do?
Stay off the alcohol for the month ofJanuary (and hopefully continue on with this great achievement!), open a fundraising page and ask your family and friends to donate towards a great cause - supporting people who have multiple system atrophy and funding research so that one day we all see a world without MSA.
How are my donations making a difference?
£5 can provide a family who is coming to terms with an MSA diagnosis, with a vital support pack offering much needed information.
£20 could help give someone the emotional support they need, over the phone from one of our MSA Nurse Specialists.
£50 could cover the cost of venue hire for one regional MSA Support Group meeting to reduce the isolation that is often felt.
£150 could cover the daily cost of manning our telephone and email support service for anyone affected by multiple system atrophy.
Your donations really make a difference to someone with MSA so thank you in advance for your support.
