MND is a fatal, devastating disease that can affect anyone at any time. It attacks motor neurones, the nerves that control movement, it leaves people locked in their bodies, unable to move, walk, talk and eventually breath. There is currently no effective treatment and no cure.
Steve’s wife, Sarah, wrote an angry and beautiful, heart breaking and life affirming letter to MND – the disease would eventually take Steve's life in July 2016.
We’re fighting MND on every possible front. Our scientists are conducting world-class research projects that will find an effective treatment and cure. Until that day, our care services provide desperately needed medical help and practical advice to families devastated by this cruel disease.
Sarah hopes that some good will come from Steve's struggle. She hopes that one day soon there will be a cure for this cruel relentless disease.
Will you join our fight and help build a world free from MND? Please make a donation today and help us find a cure for MND.
