Following the devastation of Hurricane Matthew on the west coast of Haiti on Tuesday the 4th October, you have responded generously and helped us raise much needed funds to support the rebuilding work in Haiti.
John and Sharon Harbottle (two Methodist mission partners based in Haiti) are now joined by Sandra Lopez, Partnership Coordinator for the Americas and the Caribbean who says:
"The situation remains very difficult but there is hope...there is a huge expectation on the Methodist Church in Haiti (EMH) to do more than it is able to do for its churches and communities in the affected areas. So far the funds have been spent on much needed food essentials as well as equipment for rebuilding some of the homes and churches. The Church is currently developing a response to the fight against cholera caused by the disaster."
Please give what you can to help the Church rebuild communities in Haiti.
Thank you!
