As you may have heard, Sri Lanka has been affected by flash flooding, with over 150 people losing their lives and nearly 500,000 people displaced.In the wake of this devastation, these individuals are now living in temporary relief camps having lost access to basic essentials such as food, water and clothing. In addition to this, living in such close quarters brings with it a high risk of water borne diseases.
Medical Aid to Sri Lanka are raising funds to provide essential supplies for those affected, to alleviate their suffering and prevent the spread of potentially fatal illnesses.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and could save lives.
