Preston's Wish

Story
Nine year old Preston from Sheffield is living with life-threatening Leukodystrophyand Muscular Dystrophy, which means the white matter in his nervous system isn’t developing properly and his muscles are slowly weakening. He spent most of 2014 in hospital with pneumonia and now needs a machine to help him breathe as he sleeps. He is also fed through a tube into his stomach.
Preston loves to be outside where he can lie in the sunshine, play on the swings or push along on his adapted bike. When his family turned to Make-A-Wish UK to grant his dearest wish, they chose a garden makeover to enrich his life for years to come.
All money raised for Preston's wish will, in the first instance be used to grant that wish, if we are unable to grant Preston's wish or the funds raised exceed the cost of the wish, the funds will be used to grant magical wishes to other children fighting life-threatening conditions.
