Story

In February 2019, a team of 30 convenience and wholesale sector colleagues will take on the challenge of cycling over 600km down the coast of Vietnam in 6 days. It's a tough route and it won't be easy - which is why we need your support! Money raised will help MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to achieve its vision of a world free from the threat of landmines and unexploded bombs.

Right now, millions of women, girls, boys and men are living in fear of death and injury from these indiscriminate killers. One person every hour is reported killed or injured by a landmine. Many more deaths go unreported.

MAG finds, removes and destroys unexploded landmines and unexploded bombs from places affected by conflict. It also provides mine risk education programmes so that people can live, work, travel and play as safely as possible until the land is cleared.

By sponsoring the team today, you are helping MAG to save lives and build futures in countries from Angola to Vietnam, and Bosnia to Zimbabwe.

Dig deep and help us smash the team target!

About the charity

Every single day, 13 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.
