Story
Following last year’s successful pilot ride, Team LNADJ riders will be taking on an even bigger challenge on The White Isle to raise money to help build homes for some of Tanzania’s most vulnerable children.
For this fundraising campaign we are focusing our efforts on providing specifically designed housing for a number of special needs children who require long term care.
The children will be in care until they are adults, so having a community feeling is key & a safe place to live with carers will bring about a sense of independence.
Some of the plans have already been drawn up - this facility will be 18-20 bedrooms whilst also lending itself to be easily extended. The project will be delivered in stages so all funds raised by the ride will no doubt enable it to be built quicker.
Cycle Ibiza 2017 event has two levels, “Medio” & “Largo” & takes place on 18th - 20th May. The Medio route totals 200km with 2,400m of climbing, whilst the more challenging Largo course will involve 240km of riding for a combined elevation of 3,200m which will test even the more experienced cyclists in the group.
