Story
For every £1 that’s donated, we can keep caring for another 20 seconds – the time it takes to put the kettle on, make someone comfortable in bed or give reassurance that we’re here for them.
Febe Allison was born on 12 December 2005. On New Year’s Eve she was diagnosed with Trisomy 13, a rare genetic disorder. The family was told Febe wouldn’t make her first birthday and were referred to Little Havens Hospice. Febe died at Little Havens on 12 December 2006, her first birthday.
“Our little hero made it, against all odds. She proved everyone wrong and now she’s in Heaven” Sarah, Febe’s Mum.
When a family has been told that there’s no cure for their child’s illness, Little Havens Hospice can help, making the journey as comfortable as possible.
We must raise over £46,000 each week to be there for everyone who needs us. By making a donation you’re helping a baby, child or teenager living with a serious illness be as pain free and comfortable as possible – for as long as we’re needed.
