Story
Why not join this amazing challenge and help fight for a cure for Mitochondrial Disease.
Former Fulham full-back Les Strong and Lily Chairman Jonathan Pearce from BBC Match of the Day will be climbing Mount Snowdon this May by four different routes on four different days. You can find more details here.
Altogether they will be slogging 23,611 feet up and down the mountain. Mount Everest is only 29,029 feet!
They would love others to come and join them for all or even just part of the challenge. The climbs are on well-established paths with the occasional scramble. There are no ropes etc.
The team is growing by the day including former West Ham legend Tony Gale who will be walking for the last two days.
We are hoping to raise tens of thousands of pounds to help the charity raise awareness, support families and help fund research to find a cure.
If you would like to join us for any part of the challenge please email liz@thelilyfoundation.org.uk or you can donate here.
