Visit the charity's profileFantastic news! The Lake District National Park have prioritised reconnecting this route and Highways England are giving £2.5m towards the £5.4 million projected total cost of the project. We need show how much we want to see the path reconnected to unlock further funding and aim to raise £300,000 by June 2018.
Following the floods in December 2015, the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway path suffered serious damage. Two of the old railway bridges that cross the River Greta and around 200 metres of the path surface were washed away, and Rawsome Bridge was left at risk of collapse.
We need to raise £300,000 by June 2018. We need your help to make this happen. Every single donation big and small counts. You can donate directly on here or text ‘KTOT £10’ to 70070. If you prefer to send a cheque check out the details here. We thank you in advance for supporting the campaign!!
