New Jumbulance
Our campaign is to raise much needed funds to help purchase a new Jumbulance for the 2018 season.
Story
We are well under way with an important project to replace one of our older vehicles which will soon become prohibitively expensive to maintain. Our aim is to be able to purchase a new Jumbulance in time for the 2018 season.
The provision of our Jumbulances with comprehensive medical equipment, together with volunteers including Doctors and Nurses where needed, allow those groups affiliated to the trust to undertake holidays at home or abroad.
The Trust seeks to add to the fulfilment and enjoyment of life, not only for the disabled traveller, of any age group, who can feel isolated from society, but also to the volunteer carers who undertake a rewarding and purposeful experience gaining empathy and an understanding of the difficulties of those less fortunate than ourselves.With volunteer carers helping the groups this offers valuable respite to the families who are providing lifelong care. The Trust engenders a real sense of community spirit as the groups who help to organise the holidays and raise funds all contribute with a common purpose.
