Innerleithen Pipe Band , based in Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders, offers opportunities for children, young people and adults to come together and play bagpipes and drums in pipe band competition and other events such as local festivals.

Entirely self funded, the band is fundraising via its annual PipeBand-A-Thon in order to support its work by providing musical instruments, uniforms and tuition as well as covering all the running costs of a functioning pipe band.

One of the major fundraising events of the year, band members will play in relay non-stop for 12 hours, from 8.00am to 8.00pm, in the Vale of Leithen Social Club Innerleithen. It's a terrific challenge for the band but one we are well capable of meeting. A great musical event as well as a fundraiser, the band uses the event as practice for the forthcoming pipe band season.

Last year's event raised £1314.00.Please help us beat that amount and create and new record of £2000!!
