The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileAcross Asia, an estimated 30 million dogs a year are killed and eaten. They suffer on a daily basis - in South Korea they endure deplorable conditions on dog meat factory farms. In China and Thailand they are snatched from the streets – many of them stolen pets still wearing their collars – squeezed into cages so small they can hardly breathe, and transported for days before being cruelly beaten to death in front of each other. HSI, along with our incredible partner organisations on the ground, places a global spotlight on this suffering through our direct animal rescue, dog farm closures, political campaigning to change laws, and public awareness initiatives.
This lifesaving work is only possible thanks to the generosity of caring people like you. Your donation will help dog meat farmers transition to humane livelihoods, support our local Chinese partners in intercepting dog meat traders’ trucks, fund care for confiscated animals, enable us to lobby for better laws, and so much more.
