A child’s early years are critical to their future.

Home-Start helps parents give their children the best start in life. 

We support local families with young children that find themselves in all kinds of difficulties, including mental ill health, debt and financial problems or domestic abuse.

Families like Samuel's*. His severe eczema and his mother's postnatal depression meant the family were struggling to cope.

Trained volunteers work with the families to provide early intervention, in order to prevent problems from escalating.

Each year we have to turn away parents and children who have come to us for help, because we don’t have the funds to support them all.
