By running the Bristol 10K, you aren’t just running 6.2 miles, you’re raising vital funds so that when someone’s life is hanging in the balance, we can be there and give them every possible chance of surviving.
We are the busiest air ambulance service in the South West, serving a population of 2.1 million. 2017 was our busiest year to date, with our helicopter and critical care cars attending 1824 patients. Our team of critical care paramedics and doctors are called to an average of 5 incidents a day, from emergency cesareans to roadside amputations they bring the skill and equipment of the emergency room out to where it is most needed.
We are a charity funded by donations from the public. We receive no day to day government or national lottery funding. We couldn’t keep flying without people like you and without the ongoing support of the people we serve, so thank you!
