Story
Allsorts is fundraising for an inclusive community Toy Library in Stroud.
Stocking over 1000 toys, the whole community will be able to benefit from this sustainable resource. A wide range of specialist equipment for disabled children means that every family in Gloucestershire will find something to suit them. The purpose-designed Toy Library will also be home to Stroud’s first Changing Places, a fully accessible toilet that is suitable for any disabled child or adult.
We need to raise £30,000 to make this possible!
Here are some examples of how your money can help:
£100 will pay to run the Toy Library for one day
£20 will pay for a sensory toy
£40 will pay for balance bike
£80 will pay for a weighted blanket to help children with autism
£150 will pay for a parent and carer information session
£700 will pay for a mobile hoist
£3,300 will pay for a Soundbeam , which enables any disabled child to make music
£100 will pay for a music and movement workshop for 12 children with additional needs
£100 will pay for a construction club session for 12 children with additional needs
£1000 will pay for a changing table for Stroud’s first Changing Place
£3,500 will pay for a year of weekly construction club sessions
£1100 will pay for a bubble column for the sensory room
