Visit the charity's profileRefugee Tales is public walk with evening readings of tales of the refugee experience by writers such as Ali Smith, Jackie Kay, Kamila Shamsie and Abdulrazak Gurnah. Inspired by The Canterbury Tales, it is an outreach project of Gatwick Detainee's Welfare Group. We welcome walkers to sign up via our website to join us for the full walk, a weekend or a day of walking.
Funds raised on Just Giving will be used to fund former detainee guest walkers to travel from all over the UK to join the walk, to have sleeping bags, mattresses, waterproof clothing and to have free places as part of the walking community and attending the evening events.
