Dick Potts (1939-2017) was a pioneering ecologist who conducted groundbreaking work with grey partridge for the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust over four decades. Dick also applied his passion and expertise to other species including brown hare, red grouse, woodcock and lapwing.
We would love for Dick's memory to live on by raising funds so that young ecologists are given the opportunity to further their education.
All donations will be used to form small grants that will be given to researchers and land or wildlife managers in the early stages of their career. This will help cover the expense of researching wildlife, flora and associated habitats, meeting costs for supplies, travel, software and attendance at conferences.
