On October 21st 2016 Ireland’s business leaders will come together at Dublin’s Christ Church Cathedral and Cork’s historic City Gaol to raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness.
In the last 4 years, over 300 business leaders have raised over €1.5 Million to support our work.
To take part in Focus Ireland’s Shine a Light Night 2015, we ask that individual business leaders raise or donate €5,000 and sleep-out to shine a light on the issues of homelessness in Ireland today.
Recent figures show how vital our work is and why we need the support of the business community. The homeless crisis is deepening.
• Over 2100 children, with their families, are currently homeless and living in emergency accommodation
• More than half of those children are under 8 years old.
• The overwhelming majority of these families have never experienced homelessness before
