On October 16th 2015 Ireland’s business leaders will come together at Dublin’s Christchurch Cathedral and Cork’s historic City Gaol to raise funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness.
In the last 3 years, over 200 business leaders have raised over €1M to support our work.
To take part in Focus Ireland’s Shine a Light Night 2015, sponsored by Merrion Fleet Management, we ask that individual business leaders raise or donate €5,000 and sleep-out to shine a light on the issues of homelessness in Ireland today.
Recent figures show how vital our work is and why we need the support of the business community. The homeless crisis is deepening.
• Over 1,000 children are currently homeless and living in emergency accommodation
• Every day more than one family loses their home in Ireland
• The overwhelming majority of these families have never experienced homelessness before
