We are artists and writers raising money for Fabrica - a gallery that has

been at the heart of Brighton for 22 years.

Our team fundraising target is on the right - your donation can help us

reach it. Choose a writer or artist to sponsor from the list below.

We are all taking part in this event because for the first time in its

history, Fabrica is appealing for help in securing its future.

Organisers Jane Fordham and Jackie Wills met while working with

Fabrica and have been collaborating for more than a decade.

So in the spirit of that collaboration, on Saturday 24 February 2018, 30

artists and 30 writers will undertake a sponsored Draw-a- thon and

Writers' Relay from 11 am - 4 pm at the gallery.  

FREE ENTRY - Come and watch a non-stop stream of drawings unfurl

throughout the day and read new stories as they emerge live on screen.

Fabrica Gallery, 40 Duke Street, Brighton

Refreshments on sale - especially cakes.

Individual artists or artist teams will draw for five hours non-stop! Writers

will do sprints of 30 minutes in a relay.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter both the WRITERS' RELAY and the DRAW-A-THON, please email fabricamarathon2018@gmail.com with the details of your team, including contact information.

The WRITERS' RELAY will be split into 10 half hour slots, with three themes to choose from. You may choose from 'Brighton people', 'The gift' or 'Drawing the line'. Please include the theme you wish to choose in your email to  fabricamarathon2018@gmail.com.
