This year, Engineers for Change (Sierra Leone) in partnership with Fourah Bay College Alumni Association (UK) are organising the annual London Bridge Walk to raise funds for laboratory equipment for the mechanical engineering department at The University of Sierra Leone and the Freetown Technical Institute in Sierra Leone and for a video conferencing facility.

In 2017 you helped us to raise money to buy laboratory equipment for the Mechanical engineering department at The University of Sierra Leone and Technical Institute in Freetown. This year, we wish to continue the programme of laboratory equipment fund raising to build on the £6,000 raised so far.

We also want to set-up a video conference facility at a suitable venue at Fourah Bay College to allow students and staff to access video conferencing, this would also allow the access of online training material.

A relatively small percentage of the funds raised would be used in supporting both charities in their administrative costs.
