Embrace - East Sussex is a small charity that supports families with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We have a new children's therapy centre, in which we not only provide support and legal help to parents but we also run a Saturday club and daily sessions for children to enhance their skills in all areas: social, Literacy and basic life-skills are all integrated into our own sessions and the children enjoy their time with us. Our centre also includes a sensory room, soft play, ballpit, toys and games for the children to use and enjoy.

Local men have volunteered to get their legs waxed to help us raise much-needed money so we can continue to help the children and families in the local area. They will be getting their legs waxed (or chests - it's their choice) on Sunday 19th November 2017, 11am, in The Enterprise Centre, Eastbourne. We have been lucky enough to find the lovely Monique Gillman, from Halo Hair and Beauty, Pembury Road, who is offering her services free of charge to do the waxing.

We are getting more and more parents and carers coming to us on a weekly basis, looking for information, advice and support and our children's sessions are becoming more and more popular, with new faces arriving every week. Our half term sessions sold out. With the funds raised for the leg wax, we will be able to continue our services and continue to meet local demand.
