WHY SHOULD I HELP DRAKE MUSIC?
For many disabled people, music making is simply not possible without technology. That's where Drake Music comes in. From classroom provision with children through to masterclasses for professional Disabled musicians, over three hundred and fifty disabled children, young people and adults will make music in England this year thanks to our projects, innovations and teaching.
WHAT YOUR DONATIONS WILL SUPPORT:
In Bristol, the Electric Storm Ensemble puts adults living in residential settings centre stage, performing at festivals and jamming for fun. In London, disabled and non-disabled young people come together for Soundbox, a ground-breaking partnership with Spitalfields Music and The London Symphony Orchestra. In Manchester, Disabled musicians co-create wild and wonderful new musical instruments in collaboration with technologists at the North West DMLab.
