Story

The Challenge

Following the success of our previous charity challenges, for 2018 we are organising four distinct challenges along the Camino de Santiago, the famous pilgrimage paths that snake their way from France and Portugal across Spain.

To give our challenge participants the best range of options, we've partnered with adventure company Follow The Camino, and are offering you the choice between four distinct Camino challenges, which range in difficulty and duration, ensuring that there is a Camino suitable for everyone.

Our Charity

Our fundraising goal? £200,000 for UK charity Dogs For Good - a charity who makes life changing differences to children with autism through its expertise and trained dogs. The charity trains puppies then dogs to provide confidence and vital companionship, relieve anxiety and assistance in day to day life.

An expertly-trained dog can give both parents and children real independence, often for the first time in their lives, as well as providing inarguable empathetic companionship for the child.

The Goal

As with all fundraising, every penny helps! We're aiming to be able to fully sponsor 20 puppies through a year of formal training with the 2018 challenge, but to give an idea of where your money could go...

* £5 could pay for one of our dogs’ special ID tags

* £10 could buy a jacket for an assistance dog to wear, so that they are recognised as a working dog when they go to public places

* £25 could help feed a puppy for a month, providing them with a balanced diet to ensure they are getting all the nutrition they need to grow and develop into healthy young dogs

* £50 could pay for a dog’s annual veterinary check up and essential vaccinations against diseases
