Story
Led by Prof Charlie Craddock CBE, the globally significant Centre for Clinical Haematology is currently operating at maximum capacity as a result of the growth of its world class clinical trial programme since 2006. These pioneering trials, many of which are world firsts, are not only saving lives but also contributing to the global understanding and treatment of blood cancer. The £3.2m project to expand the Centre will allow the continued success of this internationally significant programme so that more pioneering trials can be opened and potentially life-saving options extended to more patients.
YOU & your friends can help us raise the additional £1m to ensure this transformational project is fully funded. 2017 IS THE YEAR to play your part in whatever way you can; sky-dives, bike-rides or marathons, cake bakes or coffee mornings will ALL help us reach this inspirational goal to help save more lives and hasten progress towards eradicating blood cancers within 25 years, thank you.
There is a small chance that we will raise more money than is needed for this project. If this happens, we’ll spend any additional funds on furthering the objectives of the charity by providing specialist relief and treatment to persons suffering from leukaemia.
