Some people think museums are dull and contemporary art is elitist, but we at Culture24 know museums to be imagination factories and believe art can be the machinery for change. We challenge stereotypes head-on by working with artists, audiences and venues to produce amazing collaborative events. Our twice-yearly Museums at Night festival is the stage on which once-in-a-lifetime experiences are enjoyed, behind-the-scenes insights are made, new friendships forged, unforgettable fun had!
Just £3 will help us continue our work to open up more venues and reach more people with the message, museums are for you and art is fun! More events like Jessica Voorsanger's Men In Black parade through a Scunthorpe shopping centre, Grayson Perry's teddy bear hunt in the Yorkshire Museum and Bompas & Parr's green jelly lake flooding the ss Great Britain in Bristol. With your help we can create a country of art-doers, museum-stayers and culture evangelists - Make Amazing Happen!
