The owners of Silver Street Motors are retiring and CoCoChu believes God is calling us to acquire this site behind our existing small church building. 

We could develop a new building. This would have two purposes. 

It would be a community building in the heart of the village with all sorts of potential uses. Several groups and the doctor's surgery have already expressed interest, the Village Playgroup needs a bigger space as do some of our church groups, especially our youth group

It would also be a space for our church family to meet together. We have outgrown our tiny building and need room to worship together and for our kids' work, youth work and our programme of courses and events.

The cost of the land is £200,000.  The deadline to raise the money (after which the land would have been offered on the open market) was 31st March. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GO AHEAD!!!!!    It has been amazing to see the way God has worked.   The way people within the church and across the village have supported this has been remarkable and we are indebted to a generous anonymous donor who loaned £50,000 to enable us to go ahead before the deadline.  We do though need to raise that sum and repay the loan while we embark on the exciting work of consulting widely and developing plans for a new building.
