Today, another two children have been diagnosed with a life-threatening and incurable liver disease.       

Over 100 different liver diseases can affect children and young people. The causes are largely unknown; many require a liver transplant – all require a lifetime of care.    

Children's Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) is the only UK charity dedicated to taking action against the effects of all liver diseases of childhood. CLDF gives support to the families, children and young people affected; provides medical information to healthcare professionals; funds medical research, and acts as a voice for all those affected.
