Story
Many of us will know someone who has had Cancer or is currently living with Cancer. Advances in immunology treatments and changes to lifestyles are helping more people to recover or live longer with their condition. However, in County Durham and Darlington we continue to see an increasing number of new cancer diagnoses every year. This means we want to make improvements to support our patients during their treatment, which could entail up to 6 hours receiving chemotherapy. We want to enhance the care and experience of our cancer patients by creating a new and more welcoming environment for patients undergoing their treatment with us. We're are currently developing our plans with patients and staff as to how this new facility might look and what it will include but we know we will need your help please to fund the improvements.
Please donate what you can to support our appeal - perhaps you can organise an event, take on a challenge, or even create a justgiving page in lieu of presents or cards for a birthday or anniversary - whatever you do will help make a difference.
Or perhaps you could spare a few hours to volunteer for our Charity?
