Story

Every year 70,000 family members and friends in Northern Ireland take on the role of caring for a loved one. Carers NI, as part of Carers UK, provide support to them so that they don't have to care alone. They provide advice and information to carers on their rights and the practical and financial supports available to them. Carers NI also produce a range of local resources for carers, deliver carers rights training to carers and health professionals and facilitate 5 local Carer Support Groups. On Friday 15th June 2018, as part of our Carers Week celebrations, Carers NI in conjunction with Bryson Lagansports will be holding a Dragonboat race on the River Lagan in Belfast.

Each team will compete for a place in the grand final and our inaugural Carers Week Dragonboat Champions trophy!
